“These last few days were meant as a memorial of remembrance trip in honor of my father, (their Paw-Paw) Carl. He loved the fall, all the colors and nature.  We came up here to celebrate his life and are leaving with so much more than we expected. It goes without saying that the log cabin is like a home away from home, the people are so kind and helpful, the views spectacular and the memories everlasting. You were such a huge help making sure we had everything we needed and everything was just “Perfect.” My dad was with us, I truly believe that and smiling down enjoying the sight and many marvelous views with us. You have given us a wonderful gift by allowing us to share this little piece of heaven. The cabin hot tub was so soothing all the worries disappear, the wine a wonderful surprise, and we can’t thank you enough. Even our service dog “Stevie” loved everything about the place. On behalf of my family and especially my Dad aka “PAW-PAW” we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and pray we will someday soon be able to return to this little piece of heaven nestled in the Western NC mountains. The sun rays coming through the fog which was lifting over the mountains in the early morning was a portrait of perfect calm and peace. Living on the east coast of Canada near the ocean, this was a welcome change in scenery. “Bailey’s Best is a wonderful place to visit!! Great atmosphere, very relaxing, beautiful view, and much needed rest. Deep Creek falls were beautiful – enjoyed the trails by the creek – loved it!! Made trips to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge two days.  We drove through Cades’s Cove and enjoyed the peaceful drive and beautiful view. We visited Cherokee two days and bought several Christmas gifts for the family. Enjoyed shopping in Bryson City and Sylva. “Our stay at Chelsea's Choice (cabin #5) was spectacular!  The views were unparalleled, and we loved the rocking chairs on the deck, the cabin hot tub and the fire place.  Jim proposed out on those rocking chairs at sunset, and I received the most beautiful engagement ring!  It was so romantic, and the weather and mountains were perfect.  We took lots of pictures, so when we up load them, I will send you some!  The leaves were changing colors, and the hills looked just like a watercolor painting.  We didn't want to leave.  We will definitely be coming back next year to celebrate when we got engaged.  I can't thank you enough for everything.  It was the best vacation we have ever had in our lives!” NC cabins.
