We will be back and stay right here in the most beautiful place ever. Thank you and all the best from our family to yours.”

Brandon & Sarah Halford, Addis, LA, December 2009:

“We had a wonderful time staying here on our honeymoon! The accommodations were superb, and the view from the cabin was incredible. We were wanting a nice get-a-way that was private and secluded, and that’s exactly what we got. Thank you so much.”

Kathy, Jeff, Colleen, Dennis, Hercules, Boo, and Sasha, Sanford, NC, December 2009:

“Visited from Sanford, NC and had a fabulous time. It snowed quite a bit and the dusting was gorgeous from the view. The cabin was perfect as it had everything we needed. Hope to return soon. Thank you.”

Ian & Abbe Miller, Mauldin, SC, December 2009:

“Our stay was wonderful and the cabin was very romantic. We loved to relax by the fire. We will definitely stay with you again.”

Jeff & Lesley Whipple, Charlotte, NC, December 2009:

“Enjoyed our stay! Came up to ride the Polar Express and had a great time. We loved the cabin. It’s so nice and cozy. This place was more than we expected and we will be back. Pasqualino’s has the best Italian food. Thanks for everything.”

“Wonderful!”

Dale, Susan, Tiffany, Katelynn, Ryan & Shawn Richardson, Summerville, NC, December 2009:

Familia  Delgado, December 2009:

“Hemos pasado unos dias de Navidad muy bonitos en familia. La casa es muy acogedora y el paisage muy bonito y tranquilo. Esperamos volver pronto. Muchas gacias por todo”

David & Elin Stocks, Holly, Erich, Carolyn Stocks, Katie and Nicholas Myers, Lenn, Meredith & Leanna Jackson, Jacksonville Beach, FL, December 2009:

“Our reason for coming to Bryson City from Greenville, NC, Jacksonville, FL, and Ft. Myers, FL was to attend our daughter/grandaughter’s graduation from WCU on December 19. Even though this event was cancelled because of snow, we have all had a wonderful time! The youngest, Katie (age 6) from Florida asked tonight, “Do we have to leave North Carolina?” We rode the Polar Express Thursday night, shopped in Bryson a couple of days, soaked in the hot tub (at least the youngest and heartiest), and enjoyed the snow. We just wished there’d been more. And tonight, there was snow tubing in Maggie Valley. What a week this has been! We love the cabin. It is so beautifully and tastefully decorated. The fireplace is special. Rufus and Julie appreciated the doggy treats. Thanks for providing all the niceties that make your guests feel special.”

Reggie, Kim, Preston, Dalton, Mike & Tammy Long, December 2009:

“We really enjoyed the beautiful cabin and the wonderful hot tub. We also love the treat bag. We were hoping for some snow and we got just enough of that also. Everything went better than we could have imagined. We really enjoyed our stay. We will be back. Thanks again for everything.”

Teresa Fuller & Jim Odom, Orlando, FL, December 2009:

“Wonderful, very peaceful, just what city slickers need. We’ll be back. We loved the hot tub, walking around town, the fireplace and just resting!”

The Miralles Family, Miami, FL, December 2009:

“This cabin was beautiful. For my first real encounter with nature this was a great place to stay. The views are amazing and the people of Bryson City are wonderfully friendly. My husband loved the closeness to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and to all the other attractions. Tee, thank you for being so sweet and making our stay a truly pleasurable one. We will definitely come back and recommend Angel Cabins to our friends and family.”

Perry & Jill Earnhardt, Salisbury, NC, December 2009:

“What a beautiful place to spend our 23rd wedding anniversary. Total relaxation from our very hectic worlds. We do not want to leave. The hospitality was wonderful. We will definitely be back to Bailey’s.”

Three Ladies from Largo, FL, December 2009:

“We had a wonderful time in this cabin. The beds are so comfy and warm. The view is so beautiful outside, and the fireplace makes the cabin warm and cozy. Bryson City was fun with the Polar Express and fun parade and shops. The lord gave us a perfectly-timed snowfall to make our trip complete. The fireplace was cozy and everything was great! May God richly bless each one who stays in this cabin.”

Brett & Jenna Dye, Clover, SC, November 2009:

“All we can say is awesome, peaceful, restful. Our time here gets better and better. We don’t want to go home! Thanks for all the hospitality. This is our home away from home. Can’t wait until next time. The pillow top sleeps great.”

Sam & Sandy McDonald, Clearwater, FL, November 2009:

“We had a wonderful time. Thank you for letting us share your peace and quiet. The cabin is lovely. We enjoyed the train and mountains. Peace and Love.”

Darren & Penny, Holden, LA, November 2009:

“Amazing. Wonderful. Exceptional. Superb. Outstanding. Magnificient. Excellent. = AWESOME.”

Gilda, Armah, ShaVon, Kidist, Charlotte, NC via DC, November 2009:

“Aside from the astounding views and excellent convenience that makes it feel like home, our stay at Peggy’s Peace was AMAZING!!! There’s simply not enough words to describe our stay. This was our way of describing the many abstract features: Alluring, Naturalistic, Glowing, Elegant, Laid Back = ANGEL – Cozy, As, Beautiful, Immaculate, Neighborly, Secure = CABINS. Will be back!! Definitely recommending!!!”

Mark & Angela Dayoc, Jacksonville, NC, November 2009:

“We really enjoyed our stay at Angel Cabins. Bryson City is a wonderful town and brought us back to a time when life was at a slower pace and less stressful. Choosing Angel Cabins was an excellent choice on our behalf to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. We have been so blessed and enjoyed our time together as we reminisced over the years and look forward to what the Lord has in store for us to come. Highlights: hiking in Deep Creek and relaxing in the hot tub (10 mile hike). Excellent church service at Bryson City Church of God. Meeting the wonderful people around town, everyone was so friendly. Mountain Perks has excellent desserts. We look forward to coming back.”

Warren & Lou Manus, Piketown, TN, November 2009:

“We had a great time. It was a beautiful cabin and view, and we had a great experience.”

Trae, Jessica, Braxton, Trie, Shae, Kelly, Martha, Leroy, Asheboro, NC, November 2009:

“We could not have picked a better place to stay! The cabin was very nice and clean when we arrived. The people were very nice in Bryson City. We rode the train (Polar Express). Our kids had a blast. We shopped all through Cherokee and rode through the great Smokies to Gatlinburg, TN, great place to go. It’s time to go back home and we are already planning a future trip. Thanks for our fantastic stay at Angel Cabins. p.s. I want to take the hot tub home!”

Jeff and Susan Santerre, Ocala, FL, November 2009:

“Please excuse the tardiness of this letter. My wife Susan and I visited Maggie Lou's Retreat in November of 2009 for our 20th wedding anniversary. As we had never been to the Bryson City area before, we looked around on the internet for a cabin and site after site, review after review lead us to your cabins. Needless to say, our expectations were very high. No need to worry, the glowing reviews were only about 25% accurate as they could not come close to properly describing the beauty, cleanliness and warmth of the cabin. Everything was wonderful. But to go above and beyond, you left a wonderful bottle of wine and delicious chocolates for us to enjoy. This was no rental cabin, this became home for 5 days. The view was spectacular, the beds comfortable, everything was extremely clean. Excellent all around!! Yet, that was not what really did it for us. Your generosity and hospitality made the trip truly special. Specifically, the way you saved our day trip to the Biltmore. To drive out and help me jump start my car on a Sunday morning went so far beyond my expectations. I called simply to ask if you might know someone in Bryson City that might be available on a Sunday morning to help us, however you went out of your way to give us aid and ensure we had a great day. WOW! We cannot begin to thank you enough for this warm-hearted gesture. You are truly great hosts and wonderful people. In closing, it probably goes without saying that we will be back again. As far as we are concerned, there are no other vacation cabins in N.C. except Angel Cabins. We are your customers forever!! Thank You, thank you, thank you!!! From the bottom of our hearts.”

The Garlocks, Ft. Jennings, OH, November 2009:

“We had a wonderful time. Love the view. Don’t change a thing. We went to the football game and had a blast. And we loved the shopping. We will be back.”

Diane Bendele, Ft. Jennings, OH, November 2009:

“This is a very beautiful, restful, peaceful place. Had a wonderful time relaxing in the hot tub. The view was spectacular. To top it all off we won the football game!!”

Blake & Jean Griffey, Toledo, OH, November 2009:

“What a beautiful place! So serene and peaceful – just what we were looking for. The autumn colors are spectacular. Our five days here was definitely not enough time. We are already planning a trip back in the spring.”

Eric & Desiree, Durham, NC, November 2009:

“We recently moved to Durham, NC from the northeast. This is our first trip to WNC and it certainly will not be our last. Tee and Jose, this cabin is amazing! We loved sitting in the hot tub and taking in the mountain views, especially after our 11 mile hike in Deep Creek. Our evenings by the fire were so quiet and peaceful. Thanks so much for suggesting Trish for massages. We highly recommend! We are heading back east fully recharged – Thank you.”

Scott, Tracy, Ty, & Sydney Schmeltzer (Buster & Rusty, too), Goldsboro, NC, November 2009:

“We had an amazing time in the cabin! We had the most perfect weather, blue skies as far as the eye could see. By far the best thing about the cabin was the breathtaking views and the pure bliss of the hot tub. We went gem mining, hiking in Deep Creek, shopping in all the surrounding towns, visited the tunnel on the Road to Nowhere, and ate Thanksgiving dinner at the casino in Cherokee. We do appreciate the fact that we could bring our dogs. They had a great time.”

Jeremy & Kala Davis – The Honeymooners, Floridians, November 2009:

“We absolutely loved the cabin. Everything surrounding us is peaceful and beautiful. The drive up was adventurous. Also the people in the area are extremely nice (Mountain Perks Café). We loved all the adventures in the area as well as coming back to a secluded cabin. It really felt like home. Thanks for all you’ve done. Our adventures: relax and check out Mountain Perks, Biltmore House, drove to Tennessee, Nantahala Gorge Canopy Tours, back to Mountain Perks Café, took in a movie and ate at Guayabitos (excellent).”

Kenise & Namilca, Fayetteville, NC, November 2009:

“We would have to say that Chelsea’s Choice truly lived up to our expectations. We appreciate the warm welcome and the new mattresses that helped us “sleep like angels.” We’ll be sure to spread the word about our “home away from home.” Thanks!”

James & Jason, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, November 2009:

“Thank you for an exceptional first-time Smokey Mountains experience. I loved the hiking at Deep Creek (we saw a black bear!) and the zip line was great fun. The fireplace was the cherry on top of the Appalachian “sundae.” The cooler weather and the mountain views were exactly what I had in mind while I was roasting down there in that Florida sauna. Your hospitality and recommendations made the trip memorable. Look forward to a return visit. Warm regards and sincere appreciation.  Thank you, too, Michelle!”

Amanda & Todd Ehrlich, Atlanta, GA, November 2009:

“Thank you for a wonderful mountain stay. We felt nice and cozy in the extremely clean and well-kept Chelsea’s Choice. The view was truly lovely. We had a great time in this delightful town. Thanks for all.”

Andy & Jordan Edmonds and Kirby (the dog), Pilot Mountain, NC, October – November 2009:

“My husband and I had a wonderful weekend. We came here to relax and enjoy time together. We will not leave disappointed. Chelsea’s Choice is clean, beautiful, and has an awesome view. It was everything we wanted. We hate to say good-bye but hope to be back again soon. Thank you so much for the chocolate and the dog treats. We all, including Kirby, enjoyed them. Thanks again for an amazing weekend get-a-way.”

The Roseberry’s, Hiawassee, GA, November 2009:

“Couldn’t be better! We had a wonderful time – AGAIN! And we’ll be back. You have thought of everything. Thanks so much. It’s hard to pick a favorite thing to do here, there’s so much. After two visits, we still have lots more and there’s always the comfort and views of the cabin!” (Maggie Lou’s Retreat)

Susan & Jeff Santerre, Ocala, FL, November 2009:

“The cabin was beautiful. Our stay was very relaxing. The service was excellent and Tee went way beyond helpful by coming out Sunday to jump start our car. Thanks for everything! We loved Deep Creek falls (they have many), the Biltmore in Asheville, Dry Creek Falls near Highlands, Fontana Dam & Village, and Chimney Rock Park.” (Maggie Lou’s Retreat)

Amanda Ehrich, Atlanta, GA, November 2009:

“Wonderful! Everything was so neat and tidy in the cabin. It felt like a cozy home away from home. We went to Clingman’s Dome, Deep Creek trails, and watched the sunset from the porch.” (Chelsea’s Choice)

“We have truly enjoyed our stay here at Maggie Lou’s Retreat! We could not have asked for a better get-a-way for our honeymoon. The cabin is wonderful. We loved sitting on the back porch at night and the morning. The fireplace was also a very nice touch. This was a great time and place to start our new life together, just quiet, peaceful and beautiful. We are already planning our next stay. Thank you so very much.”

Ron & Linda Roseberry, Hiawassee, GA, November 2009:

“Just when we think our visit can’t get any better – it does! Thank you so much for the welcome gift – you think of everything! Our Libby dog LOVED the cookies from the Smoky Mountain Dog Bakery. We can’t wait for our next visit. And we will miss stepping out onto the deck each morning to watch the sun rise. Cabin is so comfortable and cozy.”

John & Scottie DeSalvo, Covington, LA, October 2009:

“We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend. The cabin and landscape is just beautiful. Thank you.”

Caleena Barwick & John Greenwood, West Columbia, SC, October 2009:

“October 9 – I’m so glad to be back at Angel Cabins! I didn’t get a chance to write in the book on April 10th when we stayed in cabin #3, so I’m making sure I write in this one. John & I both want to thank you all for the arrival gifts. This was a much needed mini-vacation after the past couple stressful months. Of course when John & I arrived it was raining, so we couldn’t use the hot tub; however, we’re getting used to this. It’s nice though to sit in the living room watching movies and falling asleep to the sound of the rain. John & I are very excited about our extended honeymoon stay on April 3rd, 2010.
October 11 - OK so it’s Sunday now and unfortunately we have to leave. The weekend was great and very relaxing from sitting on the back porch, to hiking in Deep Creek with Tyco & Zane (our dogs), to relaxing in the hot tub, and then enjoying a candlelit dinner, not to mention sitting on the couch last night enjoying the fireplace. Staying in Cabin 4 has been very nice this week and the view from the back porch is so beautiful. Thank you, Tee, Jose, and Michelle for everything. Hopefully John & I will be able to come back before April 3rd, if we can’t, then trust me I will be counting the days until April 3rd. Again thank you for everything!!! p.s. Mom and Dad will love this cabin when they come. p.s.s. Tyco & Zane were very pleased as well. They said thank you too!”

Peggy & Mac LaBat and Bryan & Kathy McElroy, Louisiana, October 2009:

“Thank you for a wonderful over-nite stay. “Maggie Lou” was just as warm and cozy as “Peggy’s Peace.” We loved our stay in North Carolina! One day we will return for a longer stay – loved every minute.”

Thomas & Heather Roberson, Roper, NC, October 2009:

“Wow! What a great way to start our new life together. This place is truly amazing!! We stayed here for 3 nights and to both of us it definitely was not long enough. The cabin is great: clean and equipped with everything we needed. Thanks to you guys for everything. It’s truly serene here. The back deck is awesome and the hot tub was great after a long day. Thomas and I have 4 kids between us, and we would LOVE to bring them all back. Maybe we can make this a once a year thing for our family. Wish we could stay longer but home and kids await our arrival back home. We live in Roper, NC (about 45 minutes from Outer Banks) and it’s un-real what we are missing. The perfect place for a short honeymoon. Could not have asked for anything else. So thanks again, and we will definitely see you soon with kids and have lots of friends who would love this cabin. p.s. on second thought when we bring our kids back, then we will need another stay by ourselves!!! Vacation after vacation!  Ha Ha.”

Josh & Briana Robbins, Nashville, NC, October 2009:

“It was wonderful. Cabin has everything you could need. Location is quiet, secluded, and the view is gorgeous. Felt right at home & relaxed and the hot tub is awesome. We went to the casino, to different shops. Last year we went on a helicopter ride, this year we went horseback riding. We enjoyed the petting zoo in Cherokee with dancing bears.” (Chelsea’s Choice)

Kathy White, Coconut Creek, FL, October 2009:

“Thank you for the wine, chocolates & dog treats! Wonderful stay here. We liked hiking, biking, walking and being with our dog.” (Peggy’s Peace)

Susan & Dan Roller, Gainesville, FL, October 2009:

“Excellent! Incredible and awesome! Majestic and heavenly. We rode the Blue Ridge Parkway 2 days, went to New Found Gap, explored the town, went to the Road to Nowhere, and enjoyed the view from the cabin.” (Peggy’s Peace)

Josh & Briana Robbins, Nashville, NC, October 2009:

“My husband and I came last year for our 1st anniversary. We could not have asked for anything better. It even snowed while we were in the hot tub the night of our 1st anniversary. We made so many great memories the first stay that we returned for our 2nd anniversary. It is truly a wonderful experience. The breathtaking view (especially from the deck), the beautiful colors of nature, the quiet secluded location – it is absolutely the perfect get away. My only complaint would be having to leave and go back home. We hope to make this an annual vacation and return every year on our anniversary. Thank you for a wonderful, romantic get-a-way. See you next October.”

Susan Lefstead & Dan Roller, Gainesville, FL, October 2009:

“Thank you for blessing us with a very beautiful place to stay! Peggy’s Peace is a lovely cabin very light, clean, peaceful, and OH! The view! We felt such joy and peace here. Every meal was so enjoyable as we took in the spectacular view of the valley and mountains. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck at night watching the stars and the lights in the city. We brought our Harley and rode on the Blue Ridge Parkway 2 days. We covered about 100 miles total. It was so majestic. We also played in the snow! The weather was perfect! We also enjoyed walking around Bryson City and eating at Jimmy Mac’s. Every day here was perfect. Again, thank you for a wonderful experience WILL return soon! The wine and chocolate were lovely. Thank you.”

Bruce & Susan Popovich, Middlesex, NC, October 2009:

“Our stay was a pleasant one. The gifts were great, especially the chocolate! Very peaceful and relaxing. The scenery of Clingman’s Dome was spectacular, which looked over the entire Smoky Mountains. The splendor of color was phenomenal! After dinners we will go to the National Park just down the road. We explored the park and then drove around the area and found ourselves at the other nature park. The sunset was gorgeous atop the mountain.”

Bryan & Kathy McElroy and Mac & Peggy Labat, Houma, LA (60 miles south of New Orleans) October 2009:

“Thank you Tee and Jose for a great week at your cabin – Peggy’s Peace. Enjoyed every view and enjoyed the town of Bryson City. We hope to return soon.”

John & Suzanne Flach, Chesapeake, Virginia, October 2009:

“This was the perfect spot and the best way to spend our 10th anniversary together. In the 1st years of any marriage, you are learning not only about each other, but also about who you are and how you are in a relationship. These years start off great because you are still in romantic love with your spouse. How quickly this changes and you start “letting your guard down” and showing the real you. You each start to see your true character (how you are behind closed doors). You begin to get annoyed at the little things. Then the little things turn into bigger things and before you know it, you stop doing the things for your spouse to let them know you really care about them. For some, children come along and they are wonderful. Your children are the most important thing you have ever done. The two of you put all of your effort into being a good parent. The problem is, at this point, if you’re not careful, you can let life get in the way of what got you to this point. (Your relationship and marriage). Before you know it, you’ve been married for 10 years and things have gone so fast, you’ve forgotten how important that time together is for each other. We only started to realize we were living as “roommates” instead of husband and wife within this past year. We are committed to our marriage, will do everything for it. We made ourselves take this “retreat” to give us some much needed time together. Year 10 for us has started out as a new commitment for us. I would not change anything or where we are because it took us to get here to understand the importance of this commitment. I intend to make changes and appreciate life, my family and my wife more. I intend on slowing down and enjoying the small things. I wrote this to share my experience of this wonderful cabin, what it has meant to the two of us. I enjoyed reading everyone’s comments and seeing that others have used this cabin for anniversaries, and family getaways, and honeymoons. I would like to thank Tee for the hospitality and being very truthful when she said, “I think you will enjoy this place!” She was very right. We did enjoy it! As most everyone else has written, we also hope to be back. Next time we come I hope it’s not to re-connect but to continue on our relationship. Even if it’s for our 20th anniversary. I hope that everyone that comes here has a similar experience. I wish that when you leave here, you take that “peace” with you and share it with everyone in your life. Enjoy! And thanks!”

Jordon & Zan, Huntsville, AL, October 2009:

“Stay! Perfect after “ruffin” it in a tent for a few days. From the view to the cozy home-like feel, amazing! Was a quick (much needed) getaway from the stresses of everyday life back home! Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful cabin with us. Sad to go, but hope to be back soon.”

Andy, Andrea, & Wolfe, charlotte, NC, October 2009:

“This was the perfect getaway! The cabin was comfy and homey with all the amenities we needed. The views and scenery are absolutely breathtaking. Everything made us feel at peace and completely relaxed, and we’re a bit sad to be leaving so soon. It was an 8th anniversary surprise and it was perfect! We felt like the only people in the world. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. We hope to come back soon.”

J. and Nancy and Lucy and Poppy, Satellite Beach and Clermont, FL, October 2009:

“Thank you for the dog treats. As it turned out though, they weren’t needed. On our first day in the GSMNP our little Chihuahua took down and mauled a bull elk. It was horrible. After going round and round with the park rangers, we paid the fine and came back here. We didn’t have to feed Poppy for the rest of the week. The amenities and privacy of the cabin makes it nice. We also enjoyed folklore and tall tales of the locals in Bryson City. Thanks!”

Donna & Jim Shaw, Columbia, SC, October 2009:

“Thank you for all you do to make Angel Cabins the best ever. We enjoyed everything the area has to offer and can’t wait to return. This is our 2nd year here. The people, the scenery and your hospitality makes it worth the trip up. We love it. See ya next year.”

Anna & Marc Bailey, Wilmington, NC, October 2009:

“Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! It was so nice to get away for a few days and relax. We truly appreciated the hospitality and personal touch that you put into the visit. We enjoyed hiking in the Smokey Mountain Park and we did the train ride, and river rafting up past Nantahala Village. Dinner at Johnny Mac’s was great. We also had breakfast at a new café near the train museum. Millie’s maybe? She’s only been open for four days and was incredibly sweet and cooks the meals from scratch. We’d highly recommend her. Thanks again for a wonderful visit.”

Josh & Briana Robbins, Nashville, NC, October 2009:

Nancy Rainaldi & Jay Magrane, Clearmont, FL October 2009:

“We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin was very clean and comfortable; especially the bed and I would recommend the fireplace. Cataloochee Valley was wonderful with the elk and turkeys.” (Bailey’s Best)

Paul & Sandy Sphar, Youngville, NC, September 2009:

“Great! You think of everything.” We enjoyed the train ride and the Great Smoky Mountains. We love the view from the cabin.” (Bailey’s Best)

TJ & Margaret Worcester, Rose & DJ, Woodruff, SC, September 2009:

“Excellent, as always! We have found our home away from home here and can’t wait to return in the spring. Not only is the cabin & the view spectacular, but the hospitality is warm, gracious, and thoughtful. Not a single comfort, want, or need is ever overlooked. We enjoy coffee on the deck watching the sunrise, warming up and unwinding in the hot tub, hanging out with the wonderful folks at Across the Trax. Get the best massage right at the cabin with Trish. The privacy is amazing!” (Bailey’s Best)

“We are leaving in less than an hour and I don’t want to go home! We had such a great time here. The cabin is awesome. We didn’t do a whole lot but that was exactly what we wanted. This is our first time away without kids (18 month old twins and a 9 year old at home) in 3 years and our goal was to relax! We did go to Harrah’s, hiking at Deep Creek, and walks around downtown Bryson City. I loved all the little shops. The views here are breathtaking, the cabin was very clean and I loved the rustic charm and feel to it. We will be coming back hopefully every year. Thank you.”

Scott & Terri Munday, Sanford, NC, September 2009:

“Thank you so much for a wonderful place to stay. We were here on business and couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing visit. Monday night we were barbequing, looked down and saw a black bear hanging out eating the berries. We got some beautiful pictures. We’ll definitely be back next year and will tell our family and friends. The wine and chocolates were a nice added touch. I visited the factory in Dillsboro and got some chocolates for my children. I recommend everyone to visit the chocolate shop. Thanks for everything.”

Randy & Lori Stevens, Farragut, TN, September 2009:

“This was a 2nd honeymoon getaway for us following our 7th anniversary. The Saturday weather was as wet as I can remember in a long time. However, Sunday was beautiful and we made the most of it. We traveled to Nantahala Village and the Outdoor Community area to watch the kayakers and rafters run the river. We drove to Fontana Village, back to Robbinsville and finally back to Bryson City. We had dinner Sunday at Thirteen Moons in Nantahala Village, great food and service. This was a great weekend getaway in a quiet secluded cabin. The hot tub was wonderful after a long day.”

Brian & Becky Leidinger, Lakeland, FL, September 2009:

“We chose to visit this area because we had such fun and amazing memories from several years prior. We looked on-line for months before we found this cabin. When we called Jose & Tee were so friendly and inviting. The cabin was perfect! I appreciated the beautiful surrounds and the cleanliness of the cabin. The accommodations were just great and made us feel at home. The town is so nice and the views through the mountains were gorgeous. We enjoyed ourselves even with the rain. The hot tub is great at night after shopping all day. The lightening bugs were a special treat. Mountain Perks took the place of our Starbucks craving. If you need a Starbucks when Mountain Perks closes, you will need to go to Sieverville, enjoy the ride. White water rafting down the Nantahala is a blast when the water is not too high. We enjoyed celebrating our 17th year anniversary here. We appreciated your hospitality Jose, Tee, and Michelle.”

Jenn & Isaias, Sarasota, FL, September 2009:

“We still have two full days to go but we feel like we could stay forever! The fact that this amazing cabin is also pet friendly is a one in a million find! It is so clean, you cannot tell pets are allowed, which is appreciated – even by pet owners! We could not have found a more perfect cabin – and believe me, we searched and searched on-line! This one has everything we dreamed of, coming from the flat lands of Florida. The view, the hot tub, pet friendly, the loft, the décor, the wooded, private setting – perfect. I could go on and on. We plan to do whitewater rafting and waterfall hiking still, buy we have enjoyed the peace and serenity here the most. Thank you.”

The Haymes, Simpsonville, SC, September 2009:

“We had a rough time on our way up to the cabin but our stay was worth everything. One of our cars broke down on the way up and we had to have it towed to Asheville and get a rental car for the rest of our trip. When we arrived around midnight I couldn’t find the code to the cabin and had to call to get it. My call was answered right away and we were able to get in. What a relief! The next morning there was a knock at our door and Tee Angel had brought dog biscuits for our dogs! The rest of our stay was so relaxing and prepared us for the trip back to pick up our car for our trip home. We will be back again for sure!”

”It’s so cute!” said our 9-year-old daughter. She enjoyed exploring the loft and treasure chest of games. We enjoyed figuring out if there was anything you’d overlooked in your efforts to make us perfectly comfortable and at home. You thought of everything. We took the GSM Railroad trip and relaxed on the deck for some star gazing. On the rainy night, we watched your DVD (thanks to Tee for coaching us to use the Input button on the TV remote) and played charades. When planning this trip I was overwhelmed with the choices for accommodations in this area. As soon as I spoke to Jose I knew we had made the best choice. Thank you for your hospitality. We had a wonderful time!”

Hunter and Rebecca Newman, Starkville, MI, August 2009:

“Thank you for providing us with an incredible place for our honeymoon. The cabin could not have been more cozy and felt like a home away from home. The view was amazing. The area was so quaint and we want to highly recommend and thank several places that also helped make our trip the perfect memory: 1) 13 Moons Restaurant was a beautiful, romantic setting and unbelievable steaks. (Located at Nantahala Village, a little hard to find). 2) J.J.’s Tubing, tremendous hospitality and they took the time to ensure we had a great time at Deep Creek! 3) Endless River Outfitters were the perfect choice for white water rafting. They were smaller than NOC and a lot more personable. (very knowledgeable, too). 4) The Filling Station Restaurant, Bryson City:  Delightful!!.  We love Angel Cabins and will be sure to pass on the name and quick to return.  Much love.”

The Chandlers, Charlotte, NC, July 2009:

“We had a wonderful time here in Bryson City. The wine, chocolates, and birthday card was an impressive and welcoming gesture. The cabin is beautiful with a mild rustic comfort. Your choices of activities were “spot on” for the adventure we were looking for. Carolina Outfitters was a great whitewater trip, but could be a little more adventurous. LOL! We rode the Mystery Dinner Theatre Train and had an amazing time. Very much recommend to any future guests who may inquire. We had great time tubing with only small causalities. The Filling Station is a great option for deli sandwiches and the staff was very pleasant. The hot tub is a nice touch to the peaceful environment and very good for sore muscles and bruises after a day of adventure. The cabin was clean and very cozy and we did not find anything left out of your set-ups in the kitchen. The bedding is also great touch for a restful night’s sleep. We will definitely return. Thank you.”

James & Barbara Bowers, Goose Creek, SC, July 2009:

“We spent our first stay in Angel Cabins on this trip. We have been coming to NC and Tenn since we were children (separately of course). We have been to Bryson City many times, but this was the first time we stayed in a cabin here. We had searched the web for cabins for two days. The last one we found was Angel Cabins. We talked to Jose on the phone and booked then. We were not disappointed during our stay with you. The cabin was neat, sort of rustic, and nice. The location was out of the way, quiet, and pretty good for getting around. We went out to the Blue Ridge Parkway twice, the Cheola Skyline drive, Waynesville, Dillsboro, and Robbinsville. There was a nice July 4th celebration in Bryson city. Lastly, thank you for the nice white wine from Chile and the chocolates. We will be back again.”

Mark, Julie, Austin, & Nathan Hall, Weatherford, TX, July 2009:

“We had an amazing time. We were crazy enough to bring two small children (ages 3 and 5) to the mountains and they loved it. The loft was a big hit and our oldest learned to play checkers when we found the game stash. My husband and I have loved the view. This was a great escape. (In fact it’s a little too perfect since our three year old cries every time we mention going home!)”

David & Donna Hyatt, Columbus, GA, July 2009:

“Bailey’s Nest or Bailey’s Best? Either way, both names fit. Your beautiful cabin, tucked into the side of a forest, has been a never-ending delight from the moment we first opened the door. The well-equipped kitchen and comfortably appointed furnishings were very much appreciated. We felt at home immediately! Then the panoramic view of the Smoky Mountains greeted us through the double French doors. Breathtaking! From the moment we stepped onto the deck, we kept gravitating into one of the rocking chairs to soak up the magnificent view. Every entertainment or extra amenity we desired was but minutes from the door. The local residents are friendly, the attractions plentiful and the shops are diverse and interesting. It was a pleasure to walk the streets without being jostled by a crowd. The hot tub under the stars was a wonderful way to end the day. There’s no need for us to search for the perfect Smoky Mountain getaway anymore. It’s right here at Angel Cabins! You’re hospitality has been marvelous. Thank you.”

The Singleton Family, Myrtle Beach, SC, July 2009:

“We had such a great time! The cabin is so cozy and cute. We really appreciate how stocked it is. The view is shocking. We love the rocking chairs and of course the hot tub. The two daughters (16 & 20 yrs old) slept in the loft and loved it. Dad slept downstairs – the beds are all so comfortable! We went to Nantahala Outdoor Center and whitewater rafted – had a great time!! The guides are wonderful and friendly. We’ve also hiked most of the Deep Creek Trails – not difficult at all, really relaxing/nice trails. We ate at Guayabito’s our first night – loved the authenticity and the food. Jimmy Mac’s was excellent also – great steaks and fish. We’ve had such a wonderful time and are already talking about bringing cousins, aunts, and uncles back soon. Thanks so much!
“Lost in time
     Lost in space
All my cares
     In another place

A carpenter’s labor

An Engineer’s detail
    Bound with a lady’s touch

The foggy veil lifts
And now it’s time to go . . .”

Kajal & Soumitra Ghoshroy, Columbia, SC, July 2009:

“We were excited to get here and find the cabin as we had imagined it to be – clean, rustic, decorated in the good taste and good quality. But the view of the peace and quiet were a bonus. Together it made the combination charming and relaxing. Thanks to Tee for checking up on us and giving us useful ideas for adventure of sightseeing. Our trip to Cherokee and the evening show of “UntoThese Hills” were quite a new experience for us. Enjoyed the little stores in downtown Bryson City, the coffee and the train ride. Definitely coming back again and again. The kids loved the loft bedroom upstairs. The dogs enjoyed their entire day on the deck and their view. Thank you for leaving a little gift for the dogs! Very thoughtful of you.”

Alanna, Max, Maureen, and Dennis – The Foster’s, Westlake, OH, July 2009:

“Our whole family enjoyed this trip very much! The cabin was clean, and gorgeous. We had a great time going into town. We went horseback riding, tubing, zip lining, hiking to the top of one of the tallest mountains, and even to the local pool. The pool was great. It only cost $3.00 a person and was open every day but Sunday. The pool was like its own little world because the life guards were very friendly and play really fun and unique games with all the kids. And the people that swim there are also a blast to hang around. The pool rules are also very laid back as well. Over all we had a very lovely time and look forward to our next visit here.”

Rhonda & Wes Gilmore, Brentwood, TN, July 2009:

“Thanks for the relaxing time at Angel Cabins. I never charged the cell phone, never even talked to work or home. (Whew!) Loved tubing down the creek till we were exhausted. I think we were the oldest tubers! We never even went to town. A very well kept secret. Enjoyed nature and the little hummingbird that lives off the deck.”

Janice, John, & Brady Wallace, Golconda, IL, July 2009:

“We had a wonderful time during our visit. Chelsea’s Choice is a beautiful cabin. We loved sitting in the hot tub and on the deck, just taking in the beautiful mountain views. Thanks so much for the delicious chocolates! If we are ever back in this part of the country, we would love to stay again.”

Chad & Teresa Golden, Frederica, DE, July 2009:

“Thanks for all the little extras – the wine and chocolates were great! The ever changing view was spectacular, especially from the hot tub. The cabin is exceptional and we couldn’t have asked for a better time. Thanks again!”

“Hello guest book and Tee & Jose, Thank you for a nice “Retreat Weekend!” Really enjoyed the back deck, hot tub and loft. Everything was clean and cozy – the stars were brilliant at night and we would love to come back – perhaps “try out” all 5 cabins! Ha! Ha! Only concern was the ride up the mountain – an adventure every time – we all said “wonder what it’s like in winter?” Surely a winter wonderland! Oh & Deep Creek tubing – fun, but stay away from the “washing machine” rapid set! Ya’ll have been great and we really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for the coffee and chocolates & Dakota’s gourmet cookie. She had a blast, too. She’s our little girl scout. Enjoy next guests!”

Lori & Phil Gramaglia, South Beach, FL and Joann & Lincoln Knowles, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, June 2009:

“Your cabin guardian Angel #4 “Maggie Lou” had a beautiful view on the balcony. It was calming listening to the song birds. Our delight, we saw the state bird (a cardinal) in flight. The leaves became lovely wind chimes when the breeze rustled through the hills. The sights we liked were the Deep Creek waterfalls (what a ball!) and the drive on Bryson Walk to 288 boat ramp. When we arrived we saw the river surrounded by the majestic Smokey Mountains. My o’ my, our mom loved the caramel apple pie at Jimmie Mac’s. Thank you for the coffee and candy which came in handy after our long drive from Florida. Tee and Jose, we hope you enjoy our gift from the sea and we hope to see you again someday.  All the best!”

We also enjoyed Biltmore especially the gardens and trails. Relaxing at the cabin in the hot tub was great! Thanks so much! Our favorite things were tubing and swimming at Deep Creek. It was a little rough but very exciting, high-pace fun!! The drive north on 441 to Clingman's Dome was super beautiful. The view was amazing. We had a great time just sitting back on the porch and soaking up the beauty of the mountains." (Peggy's Peace)

“We hiked the Deep River, loved the NOC and hiked to the end of the Road to Nowhere. We loved it here. Today we went to the Fontana Lake Dam and walked the lake shore tunnel. It was beautiful. We are two couples who celebrated 30 years here this week. June 1979 Elberton was a ghost town. Nothing but a sleeping bag and a dog named Elsa, a cemetery from the 1890’s and a cliff over the Colfax River. Loved it here!”

Ruby Childers, Lake Worth, FL, June 2009:

“The cabin was great. The dog treats and people treats were thoughtful, too. People in town said that Tee Angel was a wonderful person and very accommodating. They were right. The porch was fantastic and a great place to re-connect with our creator! Got some great morning light photo shots, too.”

Diane & Roger Carter, Logansport, IN, June 2009:

“After searching the internet for weeks, Angel Cabins kept popping up with every search. When we arrived all we could say is “Wow!!” There are no words to describe how beautiful this place is - so peaceful with the most awesome view. We sat on the deck most of the time just enjoying hearing the birds sing and watching the squirrels play in the trees. This is how life should be – stress free! Thanks for answering all my questions via email. It helped us a lot in planning this trip.”

Thank you so much for the relaxation that we are able to take with us. Our gratitude is beyond explanation.”

Ken & Janet Manley, Upstate NY, May 2009:

“Without a doubt your cabin and hospitality far exceeded our expectations. Beautiful facilities with a beautiful view. We have rented cabins in the New York Adirondack Mountains before, but we have never been so pleased as we were here. This cabin was very clean, well decorated, spacious, and included all the comforts of home while maintaining the Smoky Mountain rustic charm. Thank you so much for providing this beautiful place so Janet and I could celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary in the perfect atmosphere. We look forward to returning. There is so much to do in and around Bryson City. A perfect vacation spot. I’m totally convinced I need to buy a hot tub now. It made our visit so much better. Thanks again.”

Looking forward to coming back again. Everything, your thoughtfulness, helpfulness, kindness, the lovely cabin, wonderful view, was just awesome. Thank you so much.”

Judy & Ken Mueller, Weyauwega, WI, May 2009:

“We had not been in the Smokies for years and wanted so much to include them on our drive home to Wisconsin from our condo in Bradenton, FL. It is always a bit scary to rent a cabin on the internet, but what a wonderful surprise this one was! We really loved the style (almost identical to our home), the seclusion and the view from the deck. We came here to hike but found it hard to drag ourselves off the deck when reading and enjoying the gorgeous weather. (We did hike to the 3 lovely waterfalls on Deep Creek, and a long hike thru the tunnel and past the “Road to Nowhere.”) I wish we could stay longer but am eager to return home and plant my veggie garden. What a thrill to be serenaded by a whippoorwill tonight. It’s been ages since we’ve heard one.”

“Thanks for the wine, chocolates, and coffee. We really enjoyed them. I have to say of the three Angel Cabins Bill and I have stayed in, Chelsea’s Choice was our favorite. We really enjoyed our stay despite the rainy weather, which was different from the past two times we came in the fall and ya’ll were in a drought. We will be coming back, but it will probably be next spring. Thanks again for everything.”

Brittany & Jesse Lavoie, Jacksonville, NC, May 2009:

“I could not imagine a better way to celebrate our 3 year wedding anniversary and my husband’s return from a deployment to Iraq. This vacation was well needed and much more than what we expected! The cabin was beautiful and cozy and we loved the hot tub. We were able to do so many things during our week stay here, such as: whitewater rafting, gem mining (Sheffield’s Ruby mine was the best), hiking, the train ride, visited the Cherokee reservation, gambled at the casino, and drove along the roads of the beautiful mountainsides. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much for this great vacation and your generous hospitality.”

Kris & Tonya Padilla, Concord, NC, May 2009:

“We are here for our 10 year wedding anniversary and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was exceptional. It was beautiful, very clean, and comfortable. It is in a great location. We really liked the privacy that the cabin offered, as well as, the convenience to many local restaurants and activities. We look forward to future visits to this little slice of paradise.

Sheryl & Jeff Evans, Climax, MI, May 2009:

“Day one: Every little thing seems like a good omen. Our truck actually made it to the cabin on those steep roads! Within an hour of our arrival there was a sudden rain shower which gifted us with a beautiful rainbow that ended in the field just below our cabin. Spent over an hour in the hot tub under the stars. Day two: Spent the afternoon at the Biltmore, going back tomorrow to see the gardens. Woke up to a mocking bird? I think. Day three: Finished seeing the gardens at the Biltmore and came back part way on the Blue Ridge Parkway. BEAUTIFUL! Got ice cream here in Bryson City. Day four: I actually went all the way to the top of Clingman’s Dome! WOW! Then went shopping in Cherokee. The best was the easy, spectacular hike along Deep Creek to the Juney Walk, Tom Branch and Indian Creek Falls. The best pics, the best weather! Gotta go home in the morning.” (Bailey’s Best)

Scott & Danielle Hennrick, Breman, IL, May 2009:

“Thank you so much! North Carolina provided so much in such a short few days, from beauty to memories, that will be cherished always. We came here to witness my baby brother getting married, and we couldn’t have found a more perfect place. The cabin, the weather, the food, the people, the sights, the sounds, the relaxing, the laughing, the fun . . thank you again . . . we will be back.” (Bailey’s Best)

It was too bad that we didn’t have that much time to enjoy being here like we did in 2008. We still had an amazing anniversary and next year we plan to come back again and bring baby Vivian with us. Thanks again for such great hospitality! The place hasn’t changed a bit including the bumble bees on the porch.” (Bailey’s Best)

"Memorial Weekend. Thank you very much for the wine, chocolate and flavored coffee. We really appreciated your thoughtfulness in helping to celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary. We have had a wonderful time here at the cabin and we love the quaint city of Bryson. We took in the waterfalls down below the cabin at Deep Creek - they are really pretty. We grilled out one night here and the other night we went to Jimmy Mac's. The burgers are great. We also visited the hometown bakery for doughnuts (these were delicious too!) We spent some time in Sylva too. This is a neat little town that offers a little something for everyone. We ate at the Ironstone Grill and visited the brewery and cigar shop. After leaving Sylva we drove up to Cashiers and the Highlands (we saw Bridal Veils Falls - this waterfall is very unique and you can walk behind it). We had a very wonderful stay. Me and my husband got to spend breathtaking moments together that was long overdue. We got to leave all the cares and stress of everyday living behind and trade it for beautiful mountain memories that will last a lifetime. Thanks for everything. The bed linens and pillow are wonderful." (Peggy's Peace)

Peg & Ken Williams, Vandalia, IL May 2009:

"Thank you for the great accommodations during our week stay. We were blessed with beautiful weather and enjoyed the hiking, biking, and running in the Smokies. After all the intense exercise during the day, the hot tub was the perfect way to end the day. We enjoyed the views from the deck and every window and finally were able to get rid of the pesky gnats with a citronella candle. Almost everything we needed was in the cabin - you thought of everything but a cookie sheet. Thank you for the wine and chocolates, too! Thank you for answering all of our questions while we were here from hiking and running trails to the best place for pizza. Also we're grateful for your trip here with tp and paper towels and the opportunity to meet you face to face. All-in-all, our week was extremely enjoyable and we were able to leave the stress of daily life behind us." (Peggy's Peace)

“As we sit here, on our last night, looking out at the wonderful view, we don’t want to leave. This was our first trip outside of Florida. We had such a wonderful 3rd anniversary. Thank you Tee and Jose for the wine and chocolates, it was so yummy. You guys really took very good care of us. A few things we would like to recommend for future guests: Freymont Inn: good food, great prices. Nice place to go for an anniversary or special dinner. Smokemont Riding Stables: a must do! Exciting and relaxing at the same time. Nantahala Outdoor Center: white water rafting was fun, but could have been more exciting for my husband, but it was great for the beginner like me. Tail of the Dragon: if you really want danger and excitement this is the place to be. It is 318 turns in 11 miles. Located at 129 and 28N. Everyone here was so nice. We look forward to coming back in the near future with friends. Thank you again.”

“Our stay at the Angel Cabins (Bailey’s Best) was relaxing, fun, and a much needed reprieve from the hectic lives we live. The North Carolina Smoky Mountains were breathtaking and beautiful. My husband and two boys (ages 10 & 6) took time to enjoy each other and as a couple we also spent some quality time together. The modern cabin was exceptionally neat and clean with all the necessary amenities and Jose and Tee were friendly and accommodating. The cabin had a genuine rustic décor which gave us an authentic country but comfortable feel we were looking for. The views from the cabin were awe-inspiring and the hot tub was relaxing and fun. We went to Cherokee and Asheville which was a quick although beautiful drive through the mountains or the highway. A much recommended tranquil vacation which was affordable, private and pleasant!” (Bailey’s Best)

Allen Clark, Norton, OH, April 2009:

“We had a great time, very relaxing mountain views are awesome. Cabin is very nice versus others we’ve stayed in. Looking forward to coming back. Your cabin is beautiful and so is this area of NC. Thank you for the use of the cabin and it is definitely a place we will recommend to others and come back to ourselves! Comfy surrounds and the hot tub was great!” (Bailey’s Best)

Andy, Sharon, Ross & Holli Efird, Albemarle, NC, April 2009:

“This cabin is absolutely perfect! My husband and I brought our 2 kids (15 & 11). The view is spectacular. We had gorgeous weather. During the day, the sky was the bluest I’ve ever seen & the night sky was filled with millions of stars which we gazed at relaxing in the hot tub. Although our stay was short, it reminded me of how awesome God is and how unbelievable his creations are. We love this area. Our train ride was so much fun. The restaurants in town are great. We went to Jimmy Mac’s & the Italian restaurant across from the train station. And it is such a short drive to get there. Thank you for the emails that gave us information on things to do and places to eat. We will be back! Also the waterfalls were spectacular.” (Bailey’s Best)

Josh & Mary Lloyd, Vancleave, MS, April 2009:

“Thank you for a great break. We loved the cabin. Wished I had one at home! The weather wasn’t great, but we still had a good time. The country is beautiful. Everyone needs to take the train ride – Great! Anything is possible . . . stay in the cabin, rest and relax. Plenty to do, sightsee, shop, something for everyone.
And from Josh:
Lighting Flashed

Tim & Bridget Appleberry, Louisville, KY, April 2009:

"We loved this cabin and area so much we stayed an extra day! We'd never been to the Smokies & found this cabin online and hoped it was as nice as the pictures. It was! And then some. Plus comfortable beds, easy to have our whole family here - enjoyed watching the sky change over the mountains. Thank you for a relaxing getaway - sad to leave in a cloud. We'll be back (from Louisville) for sure. More trails to hike & so nice to rest our legs in the hot tub & very clean cabin afterwards." (Peggy's Peace)

We sat on the porch and soaked up the sun and we sat at the table and watched the weather alternate between sun and snow. What a marvelous experience we have had. The mountain views are absolutely glorious. It would be difficult to choose one favorite thing, but relaxing in your well-appointed cabin would have to be at the top of the list." (Peggy's Peace)

Arjen en Dinny Amsen, the Netherlands, Nederland, April 2009:

"We spend a very nice few (beautiful) days in your beautiful cabin. The beautiful views over the valley, the smell of the pine trees, the singing of the birds is extraordinaire. What a wonderful place, we have had such a great time, hiking in Smokey National Park, biking in Tsali Rec Park, seeing Biltmore Estate, etc. The best part though was spending time in this awesome cabin. The views are spectacular, the hot tub was just what we needed after a hike or a bike. We have seen wild turkey stroll by while sitting on the porch, and a red woodpecker pecking away just above our heads next to the cabin. We are grateful for the service and professionalism that you both have exhibited throughout the week, only one complaint, we have to leave!! Thank you so much, looking forward to next time!" (Peggy's Peace)

"The cabin and mountain views are more spectacular than we ever imagined. Reading about the cabin and views online does not compare to when you are physically here. If you are looking for relaxation, views, and a nice place to stay you must come here. The attention to detail, organization, cleanliness, and recommendations are fantastic. We only stayed 3 nights but did experience quite a bit: local eats, hot tub, relaxing at the cabin, railroad ride, jeep tour, hiking, Biltmore Estate, fishing, visiting Cherokee, and Harrah's Casino (buffet doesn't look appealing but everything was absolutely amazing). Thank you so much for our wonderful stay - I hope we are able to return again and hopefully for a longer stay!" (Peggy's Peace)

"There are few times once you reach "adulthood" that you get to experience a fairytale. Moments that allow you to escape from the exhausting reality of your everyday life . . . and live for just a while in a magical world free from everything that is routine. This was one of my fairytale weekends. When we got here, Michael wrapped his arms around me and said, "We are going to have a wonderful weekend." I knew that second that it would go by in a blink . . . now I'm saying goodbye and I'm sad. Thank you for the amazing cabin set in the most spectacular of scenes. It was more than we ever thought it could be. I'm a "single" mom whose days are crazy and busy and tiring . . . but this weekend I got to sleep, relax, and spend any or all of the time doing everything or nothing. It was such a treat. And I will remember this fairytale story forever. God Bless" (Peggy's Peace)

"Hello. What a wonderful Valentine's day get-a-way. My husband and I have been together for twenty years. We were told we would never have children. Our daughter (miracle) is now 17 months old. Yeah; we had a little unexpected miracle using no fertility help. Just a surprise. We named her Trinity (Father, Son, Holy-spirit) because she was definitely sent from there. Anyway, we have had our ups and downs in our 20 year relationship. Life stresses can affect everything. My hubby and I bonded again in an unexplainable way and this trip was perfect for us to complete that bond. It was like a honeymoon! A fairy tale; magical & very romantic. Your cabin made this a wonderful memory for us. This is our first time in the mountains and I am so glad we chose this cabin! Everything was perfect! The cabin was very cozy & comfortable. We had a very special Valentine's day. The hospitality was great. Accommodations were perfect. My husband and I bonded even more. Craig & Gail Kluch, Fort White, FL, January 2009:

"Words cannot express our appreciation for all you did for us. Your hospitality is incomparable & your kindness is never ending. Your constant thoughtfulness and beautiful cabin has made this a vacation we will never forget. We enjoyed our day trips to near-by towns and several of your restaurants here in Bryson City, Jimmy Mac's, Mountain Perks Cafe, and also the Mexican restaurant. The hot tub was great - even in the cold weather. Thank you again for helping us create such wonderful memories with our friends. (p.s. You helped fulfill one of Craig's wishes from his "Bucket List" in so many wonderful ways.)" (Peggy's Peace)

Amber & Jordan Simms, Norfolk, VA, January 2009:

"The cabin was absolutely perfect! It was so nice of you to come up and show us how to start the fireplace after office hours! We loved everything about the scenery and our stay. We had rented a cabin for our 1st anniversary and as it approaches our 5th anniversary your cabin put the other to shame that we stayd in! Thanks so much for the chocolate!" (Chelsea's Choice)

Emily Pate & Family, NC, January 2009:

"Thank you both for giving me the most extraordinary birthday ever! I enjoyed staying here with my family. I will rmember our time here forever. The fire was delightful, the hot tub perfect (especially after a long, hard day of skiing in the cold!) and this wonderful cabin simply magical. May God bless you and your sweet, caring hearts. Many, many thanks for the perfect getaway." (Marge's Memories)

Russ & Linda Armentrout, Rutherfordton, NC, January 2009:

"Thanks so much for a wonderful place for a great weekend. Very relaxing in all respects. We especially enjoyed sitting in the hot tub when it was four degrees outside. Everything about the weekend was great. Even did some hiking to some frozen waterfalls. You definitely went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. We'll be back!" (Bailey's Best)

Brent & Heidi Tatum, N. Charleston, SC, January 2009:

"This was our second time staying and we couldn't be happier with Angel Cabins!! We loved the wine and chocolates that greeted us - perfect touch! Had a blast in the Smoky Mountains - although pretty cold this time around. Thanks for a wonderful stay and we will be back again! (Marge's Memories)

Francisco & Eugenia Palacio, Pompano Beach, FL, January 2009:

"We wanted to come to the Smoky Mountains for the longest time . . . always uncertain which would be the best place to stay. We found it!! This is just great!! We fell in love with the cabin, the area and the people. We'll be back!!! (Peggy's Peace)

Jason & Chirsty Wright, Columbia, SC, January 2009:

"We enjoyed your cabin so much! What a great place to come for relaxing and quietness. The cabin was more than we expected. Very nice and clean. Thank you for a great weekend. We would love to return in the fall. Love the hot tub and fireplace!" (Peggy's Peace)

Denisa Horna & Chris Hayes, Jacksonville, FL, January 2009:

"We are leaving today (Jan 2, 2009) and it's snowing, kids are outside while I'm so enjoying the snow. It was absolutely fabulous here! Thank you, place is amazing. What a great way to celebrate New Year 2009." (Marge's Memories)

Rachel & Jason Farmer, Spartanburg, SC, January 2009:

"Unlike most memories, ours of the cabin and surroundings were better than remembered. We have now been here in the summer and winter and both seasons are equally delightful. We were surprised that we could still enjoy the hot tub in January and the fire logs were wonderful. Thank you for putting so much thought into each and every detail! I guess now we can dream of spending spring and fall at Chelsea's Choice!" (Chelsea's Choice)

John & Carla Nicholson & Boys, Flora, IL, January 2009:

"Our family really enjoyed our get-a-way weekend in the mountains. The cabin was everything we expected. It was important to us to find a cabin that was secluded, but yet close enough to seasonal activities. The drive from Illinois was definitely worth it!" (Chelsea's Choice)
