Here is what our guests say about this cabin!

Patrick & Samantha Laton, Wingate, NC, April 2010:

“This was our honeymoon. We wanted something peaceful and cozy. The view from our cabin was unbeatable. The hot tub was great after a long day of shopping. The help was always there and was very nice. We couldn’t have asked for a better honeymoon. We are looking forward to coming back. Thanks Angel Cabins!”

Kathryn, Larry, Madison, Jacob and Scout (our dog) Katz, April 2010:

“Thanks for the great family vacation while the kids enjoyed their spring break. Tee and Jose were professional, helpful and made our stay wonderful. The whole family appreciates your hard work. Bryson City has a lot to offer and we’ll be back for more memories.”

Ron & Linda Roseberry, Hiawassee, GA, March 2010:

“Wonderful time! Just a little snow that was beautiful and the fireplace to make for a cozy day. A great “runaway” visit. Thank you again for all you do to provide such a comfortable, peaceful place to be. We’re looking forward to a summer visit! Thanks again.”

Mike & Lisa Kennemore, Kennesaw, GA, March 2010:

“There’s only one thing to say about this cabin and our experience here! PERFECT! From the point of check-in until check-out, the owners and staff make sure everything is clean and perfect. This has now become our favorite place. Thank you so much for the great visit.”

Ray & Brenda Creech, Fayetteville, NC, March 2010:

“This has been a perfect family retreat. We celebrated our daughter’s 20th birthday here and she says it has been perfect. Walking the Indian Creek trails was not the birthday experience she was expecting, but we took advantage of our ‘family time’ and made it memorable. Thanks for the birthday card and cupcakes. They were certainly a surprise and made our stay here more special. The cabin is beautiful and it has an “at home” feeling. This is a birthday she will always remember.”

Joey, Tara & Teagan Brown, Port Saint Lucie, FL, February 2010:

“We enjoyed our stay so much. The cabin is beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Very clean and tidy. Loved the washer and dryer amenities. The beds and pillows are the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on. The view was incredible. We loved the privacy yet being close to civilization. Our 2 year old daughter had a great time on the stairs and playing in the upstairs closet. Having the SMNP so close was a great treat. We drove through to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg two times. Seeing the snow on the ground was spectacular for us Floridians. We plan to be back as soon as we can.”

Heather & Jeremy, NY, February 2010:

“The cabin is utterly amazing. We spent much needed time relaxing in front of the fire and in the spa (even with the snow!). This weekend was planned to get “alone time” and it turned out wonderfully. Tee and Jose you both exceeded our hopes and expectations with our dilemma. Thank you again! The wine was fantastic as well. This weekend’s goal was accomplished and we hope to be back soon.”  A special note from “Good Luck” Jeremy: “Good Luck (haha)! And thanks for reminding me, I do have an Angel now. I enjoyed our stay very much and will be back. Sincere thanks for EVERYTHING!”

Sean Templeton & Heather Sherrill, Mooresville, NC, February 2010:

“Our stay in this beautiful cabin was perfect. Thank you for letting us add a day to our visit. We had always talked of retiring to Asheville, but think we have changed our minds to Bryson City! Such a beautiful town and beautiful people. We love the Jacuzzi and the amazing view. We needed this break from the real world, which includes a 15 year old, 12 year old, and 4 year old. It was so nice to be able to be “grown-ups” again for a few days. We WILL see ya’ll again.”

The Dream Team! Rober Freeman and Michaela, Shanette, Cherlonda, Kechia, Atlanta, GA, February 2010:

“Our stay here was very peaceful. We really enjoyed the getaway. Thanks for having us, we look forward to coming back! Thanks for everything, Tee.”

Joseph, Tara & Teagan Brown, Port St. Lucie, FL, February 2010:

“Our stay was fantastic. Incredible view, spacious and comfortable cabin. Couches, pillows & beds were AMAZING!! We drove through the SMNP two times into Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg to go shopping. What amazing views with the snow on the mountains. Truly a treat for us Floridians!!! We will be back!”

Heather McDonald & “Good Luck” Jeremy Kenyon, Thomasville, NC, February 2010:

“Amazing! The cabin is beautiful!! We spent some much needed time relaxing in the spa (in the cold). Tee & Jose, you exceeded our expectations in everything. We greatly appreciate the help and will not forget it.”

Mike and Katie Wingler, Charlotte, NC, January 2010:

“Three words: cozy, peaceful, and relaxing. My wife and I look forward to returning again sometime soon. Our favorite thing was to relax and enjoy our time together. The Jacuzzi was great! Thanks.”

Jeff, Susie, Mia & Lily Turk, Summerville, SC, January 2010:

“We have spent an incredibly relaxing few days here in this beautiful cabin. Our daughters (ages 3 & 5) have really enjoyed exploring upstairs, possibly even more than hiking to the water falls. My husband and I have spent some quality time together, which was the goal of our short vacation. (He will be deploying for five months as soon as we get back home.) We have all spent plenty of time lazing in the hot tub (despite some really cold rain!) Thank you so much for providing everything we could need or want during our stay. We will be recommending your fabulous cabin to our friends and hope to return here ourselves before too long.”

Paul & Angela Connett, Gaston, SC, January 2010:

“I am so pleased to have stumbled upon the Angel Cabins website when trying to plan a relaxing mountain getaway. Paul and I loved staying here. We visited the Dillsboro Chocolate Shop and then The Doggy Bakery. We have enjoyed our stay so much this weekend we are planning to come back in the spring. We would rather take a relaxing vacation here with our canine children, Ryder and Rascal, than take a cruise without them. So guess what? We will be contacting you again Tee and Jose. Thanks for a marvelous and peaceful, quiet relaxing weekend. We  loved seeing the snow on the top of the GSMNP!”

Lina, Juan, Adolpho, Monica, Menchi, and Carlos, January 2010:

“Wonderful cabin, thank you so much for the service, we had a great time. The experience was great, we’re looking forward to coming back. The view was beautiful, the quaint interior decorations, and its proximity to shopping and entertainment was great. We also loved the Jacuzzi and how you had it ready! Thank you so much, have a happy, enjoyable, and peaceful year. Happy New Year! Thank you.”

Perry & Jill Earnhardt, Salisbury, NC, December 2009:

“What a beautiful place to spend our 23rd wedding anniversary. Total relaxation from our very hectic worlds. We do not want to leave. The hospitality was wonderful. We will definitely be back to Bailey’s.”

Three Ladies from Largo, FL, December 2009:

“We had a wonderful time in this cabin. The beds are so comfy and warm. The view is so beautiful outside, and the fireplace makes the cabin warm and cozy. Bryson City was fun with the Polar Express and fun parade and shops. The lord gave us a perfectly-timed snowfall to make our trip complete. The fireplace was cozy and everything was great! May God richly bless each one who stays in this cabin.”

Brett & Jenna Dye, Clover, SC, November 2009:

“All we can say is awesome, peaceful, restful. Our time here gets better and better. We don’t want to go home! Thanks for all the hospitality. This is our home away from home. Can’t wait until next time. The pillow top sleeps great.”

Sam & Sandy McDonald, Clearwater, FL, November 2009:

“We had a wonderful time. Thank you for letting us share your peace and quiet. The cabin is lovely. We enjoyed the train and mountains. Peace and Love.”

Darren & Penny, Holden, LA, November 2009:

“Amazing. Wonderful. Exceptional. Superb. Outstanding. Magnificient. Excellent. = AWESOME.”

Jordon & Zan, Huntsville, AL, October 2009:

“Stay! Perfect after “ruffin” it in a tent for a few days. From the view to the cozy home-like feel, amazing! Was a quick (much needed) getaway from the stresses of everyday life back home! Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful cabin with us. Sad to go, but hope to be back soon.”

Andy, Andrea, & Wolfe, charlotte, NC, October 2009:

“This was the perfect getaway! The cabin was comfy and homey with all the amenities we needed. The views and scenery are absolutely breathtaking. Everything made us feel at peace and completely relaxed, and we’re a bit sad to be leaving so soon. It was an 8th anniversary surprise and it was perfect! We felt like the only people in the world. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. We hope to come back soon.”

Donna & Jim Shaw, Columbia, SC, October 2009:

“Thank you for all you do to make Angel Cabins the best ever. We enjoyed everything the area has to offer and can’t wait to return. This is our 2nd year here. The people, the scenery and your hospitality makes it worth the trip up. We love it. See ya next year.”

Anna & Marc Bailey, Wilmington, NC, October 2009:

“Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! It was so nice to get away for a few days and relax. We truly appreciated the hospitality and personal touch that you put into the visit. We enjoyed hiking in the Smokey Mountain Park and we did the train ride, and river rafting up past Nantahala Village. Dinner at Johnny Mac’s was great. We also had breakfast at a new café near the train museum. Millie’s maybe? She’s only been open for four days and was incredibly sweet and cooks the meals from scratch. We’d highly recommend her. Thanks again for a wonderful visit.”

TJ & Margaret Worcester & Rose and DJ, Woodruff, SC, September 2009:

“This is our 3rd visit and it will not be our last. We have truly found our home away from home here! The peacefulness, the privacy are fantastic and the hospitality is unmatched. Tee and Jose you are terrific people and thoughtful hosts. Your thoughtfulness is so appreciated! See you in March!”

Randy & Lori Stevens, Farragut, TN, September 2009:

“This was a 2nd honeymoon getaway for us following our 7th anniversary. The Saturday weather was as wet as I can remember in a long time. However, Sunday was beautiful and we made the most of it. We traveled to Nantahala Village and the Outdoor Community area to watch the kayakers and rafters run the river. We drove to Fontana Village, back to Robbinsville and finally back to Bryson City. We had dinner Sunday at Thirteen Moons in Nantahala Village, great food and service. This was a great weekend getaway in a quiet secluded cabin. The hot tub was wonderful after a long day.”

Brian & Becky Leidinger, Lakeland, FL, September 2009:

“We chose to visit this area because we had such fun and amazing memories from several years prior. We looked on-line for months before we found this cabin. When we called Jose & Tee were so friendly and inviting. The cabin was perfect! I appreciated the beautiful surrounds and the cleanliness of the cabin. The accommodations were just great and made us feel at home. The town is so nice and the views through the mountains were gorgeous. We enjoyed ourselves even with the rain. The hot tub is great at night after shopping all day. The lightening bugs were a special treat. Mountain Perks took the place of our Starbucks craving. If you need a Starbucks when Mountain Perks closes, you will need to go to Sieverville, enjoy the ride. White water rafting down the Nantahala is a blast when the water is not too high. We enjoyed celebrating our 17th year anniversary here. We appreciated your hospitality Jose, Tee, and Michelle.”

Jenn & Isaias, Sarasota, FL, September 2009:

“We still have two full days to go but we feel like we could stay forever! The fact that this amazing cabin is also pet friendly is a one in a million find! It is so clean, you cannot tell pets are allowed, which is appreciated – even by pet owners! We could not have found a more perfect cabin – and believe me, we searched and searched on-line! This one has everything we dreamed of, coming from the flat lands of Florida. The view, the hot tub, pet friendly, the loft, the décor, the wooded, private setting – perfect. I could go on and on. We plan to do whitewater rafting and waterfall hiking still, buy we have enjoyed the peace and serenity here the most. Thank you.”

Gary & Trish McGill, Cary, NC, September 2009:

“Flawless! Thank you for sharing one of your homes with us. We would love to come back. Thank you so much. We loved to relax on the deck and in the hot tub, and we loved shopping in Bryson City.” (Bailey’s Best)

Brian & Becky Leidinger, Lakeland, FL, September 2009:

“Great! Very relaxing. We were as comfortable as if we were at home. Beautiful surrounds. Owners are nice and thoughtful. We enjoyed hanging around town, Mountain Perks Café and shopping in the little shops.  We had ice cream, fudge and trips through the Smoky Mountain Forest. Jacuzzi was nice also. Rafting is great when the water levels are not too high. Just relaxing at the cabin and watching movies is fun too.” (Bailey’s Best)

Randy & Lori Stevens, Knoxville, TN, September 2009:

“We had a great time.  Love the cabin, very romantic. We went to Nantahala Village and beyond to watch the rafters.” (Bailey’s Best)

Katherine, Joe, Raisa, Gaithersburg, MD, August 2009:

”It’s so cute!” said our 9-year-old daughter. She enjoyed exploring the loft and treasure chest of games. We enjoyed figuring out if there was anything you’d overlooked in your efforts to make us perfectly comfortable and at home. You thought of everything. We took the GSM Railroad trip and relaxed on the deck for some star gazing. On the rainy night, we watched your DVD (thanks to Tee for coaching us to use the Input button on the TV remote) and played charades. When planning this trip I was overwhelmed with the choices for accommodations in this area. As soon as I spoke to Jose I knew we had made the best choice. Thank you for your hospitality. We had a wonderful time!”

Bryan Dorion & Benjamin Dorion, DeBary, FL, August 2009:

“Whoa Nelly! Our second visit here . . . different cabin this time! The view, the hot tub, the smell of wood, terrific sheets, peace & quiet . . . Love it here and will return again to this cabin. My son loves the “small town atmosphere” everyone friendly. He would love to live here, you’re a regular everywhere you go!”

Casey & Tucker, August 2009:

“As advertised . . . a relaxing peaceful experience. Just what I wanted. And to be able to bring my furry kid, Tucker, was the best. We will be back. Kind regards.”

Bob, Susan, & Casey DuPont, Crestview, FL, August 2009:

“What a wonderful time, location was the high point, we didn’t want to leave the cabin it was so inviting and relaxing. Enjoyed the surroundings, went out and explored – hiked, white water rafting, tubing, and horseback riding – morning jogs into Deep Creek were challenging – the hill climb back to the cabin was tough! Thanks for everything. Your hospitality made it an effortless trip. We will be back in the fall!”

Muna, Robini, Ram, Shekar, Shamanlini, baby Nelu, Malli & Nima, Greensboro & Chapel Hill, NC, August 2009:

“Awesome place, had a wonderful time. We felt as if it’s our home. Thank you so much for everything. Location is fantastic. House is very beautiful. We will come again to enjoy our time in the future in this beautiful, peaceful home. Thanks once again!! Luv.”

Bryan Dorion, Debary, FL, August 2009:

“Superb! Return visit . . . one of many!” (Bailey’s Best)

Mark, Julie, Austin, & Nathan Hall, Weatherford, TX, July 2009:

“We had an amazing time. We were crazy enough to bring two small children (ages 3 and 5) to the mountains and they loved it. The loft was a big hit and our oldest learned to play checkers when we found the game stash. My husband and I have loved the view. This was a great escape. (In fact it’s a little too perfect since our three year old cries every time we mention going home!)”

David & Donna Hyatt, Columbus, GA, July 2009:

“Bailey’s Nest or Bailey’s Best? Either way, both names fit. Your beautiful cabin, tucked into the side of a forest, has been a never-ending delight from the moment we first opened the door. The well-equipped kitchen and comfortably appointed furnishings were very much appreciated. We felt at home immediately! Then the panoramic view of the Smoky Mountains greeted us through the double French doors. Breathtaking! From the moment we stepped onto the deck, we kept gravitating into one of the rocking chairs to soak up the magnificent view. Every entertainment or extra amenity we desired was but minutes from the door. The local residents are friendly, the attractions plentiful and the shops are diverse and interesting. It was a pleasure to walk the streets without being jostled by a crowd. The hot tub under the stars was a wonderful way to end the day. There’s no need for us to search for the perfect Smoky Mountain getaway anymore. It’s right here at Angel Cabins! You’re hospitality has been marvelous. Thank you.”

The Singleton Family, Myrtle Beach, SC, July 2009:

“We had such a great time! The cabin is so cozy and cute. We really appreciate how stocked it is. The view is shocking. We love the rocking chairs and of course the hot tub. The two daughters (16 & 20 yrs old) slept in the loft and loved it. Dad slept downstairs – the beds are all so comfortable! We went to Nantahala Outdoor Center and whitewater rafted – had a great time!! The guides are wonderful and friendly. We’ve also hiked most of the Deep Creek Trails – not difficult at all, really relaxing/nice trails. We ate at Guayabito’s our first night – loved the authenticity and the food. Jimmy Mac’s was excellent also – great steaks and fish. We’ve had such a wonderful time and are already talking about bringing cousins, aunts, and uncles back soon. Thanks so much!

Kajal & Soumitra Ghoshroy, Columbia, SC, July 2009:

“We were excited to get here and find the cabin as we had imagined it to be – clean, rustic, decorated in the good taste and good quality. But the view of the peace and quiet were a bonus. Together it made the combination charming and relaxing. Thanks to Tee for checking up on us and giving us useful ideas for adventure of sightseeing. Our trip to Cherokee and the evening show of “UntoThese Hills” were quite a new experience for us. Enjoyed the little stores in downtown Bryson City, the coffee and the train ride. Definitely coming back again and again. The kids loved the loft bedroom upstairs. The dogs enjoyed their entire day on the deck and their view. Thank you for leaving a little gift for the dogs! Very thoughtful of you.”

Alanna, Max, Maureen, and Dennis – The Foster’s, Westlake, OH, July 2009:

“Our whole family enjoyed this trip very much! The cabin was clean, and gorgeous. We had a great time going into town. We went horseback riding, tubing, zip lining, hiking to the top of one of the tallest mountains, and even to the local pool. The pool was great. It only cost $3.00 a person and was open every day but Sunday. The pool was like its own little world because the life guards were very friendly and play really fun and unique games with all the kids. And the people that swim there are also a blast to hang around. The pool rules are also very laid back as well. Over all we had a very lovely time and look forward to our next visit here.”

Rhonda & Wes Gilmore, Brentwood, TN, July 2009:

“Thanks for the relaxing time at Angel Cabins. I never charged the cell phone, never even talked to work or home. (Whew!) Loved tubing down the creek till we were exhausted. I think we were the oldest tubers! We never even went to town. A very well kept secret. Enjoyed nature and the little hummingbird that lives off the deck.”

Donna & David Hyatt, Columbus, GA, July 2009:

“Wonderful. Beyond words.” (Bailey’s Best)

Kajal Ghoshroy, Columbia, SC, July 2009:

“Wonderful! Thanks for all your help Tee, & your good taste in decorating the cabin. It was quite a Zen! We stayed in and enjoyed the view and the ambiance and the peace!” (Bailey’s Best)

Jonathan & Tabitha Carlisle, Kalkaska, MI, June 2009:

“We had a lot of fun here in Bryson City. We are so glad we stayed on this side of the mountain! We had a great time hiking, tubing, walking through town, driving the Blue Ridge Parkway and relaxing. The cabin was everything we could have hoped for and the view was great! Thank you.”

Tabitha & Jonathan Carlisle, Kalkaska, MI, June 2009:

“Great! We had a wonderful time! The view was beautiful. We had a nice relaxing get-a-way. We liked sitting in the air-conditioning, tubing, hiking, driving through the mountains.”

Shelley & Brett Holtzendorff, Charlotte, NC, June 2009:

"This place is the perfect getaway for a romantic weekend or in our case, anniversary. It was our 3rd & we were like two little kids running around checking out everything! The view is spectacular and the cabin is perfect. We loved the hot tub – a great touch to the already relaxing atmosphere. We went shopping & hiking & relaxed. We gazed at the stars and watched movies. Our goal was to relax since we have a 2 year old son, Dylan, at home & that is exactly what we did. Thanks for everything Tee & Jose. You guys are so hospitable. We shall be back soon!!".

Scott & Danielle Hennrick, Breman, IL, May 2009

“Thank you so much! North Carolina provided so much in such a short few days, from beauty to memories, that will be cherished always. We came here to witness my baby brother getting married, and we couldn’t have found a more perfect place. The cabin, the weather, the food, the people, the sights, the sounds, the relaxing, the laughing, the fun . . thank you again . . . we will be back.”

Stephanie & James King, Southport, NC, May 2009

"Wonderful. Cabin was great. View was great! No complaints. We loved Cades Cove, Bryson City, the restaurants, Dillsboro and Sylva.

Kelly & Scott (Gallagher), Charleston, SC, May 2009:

“Hi guys! We loved coming back here for our first anniversary since this was the place that the idea sprung from. It was too bad that we didn’t have that much time to enjoy being here like we did in 2008. We still had an amazing anniversary and next year we plan to come back again and bring baby Vivian with us. Thanks again for such great hospitality! The place hasn’t changed a bit including the bumble bees on the porch.”

Nikki Terrell & Byron Davis, Atlanta, GA, April 2009:

"It was wonderful waking up to the sound of nature instead of the sound of cars and just a busy day. We loved fishing and the national park."

George, Leena, Austin & Andrew Philip, North Haledon, NJ, April 2009:

“Our stay at the Angel Cabins (Bailey’s Best) was relaxing, fun, and a much needed reprieve from the hectic lives we live. The North Carolina Smoky Mountains were breathtaking and beautiful. My husband and two boys (ages 10 & 6) took time to enjoy each other and as a couple we also spent some quality time together. The modern cabin was exceptionally neat and clean with all the necessary amenities and Jose and Tee were friendly and accommodating. The cabin had a genuine rustic décor which gave us an authentic country but comfortable feel we were looking for. The views from the cabin were awe-inspiring and the hot tub was relaxing and fun. We went to Cherokee and Asheville which was a quick although beautiful drive through the mountains or the highway. A much recommended tranquil vacation which was affordable, private and pleasant!”

Andy, Sharon, Ross and Holli, April 2009:

"Could not be better! We will return this summer to raft with Paddle Inn. This trip we did the train ride, hiked to the waterfalls and enjoyed the hot tub."

Josh & Mary Lloyd, Vanleave, MS, April 2009:
